What makes our programmes different? Traditional leadership development programmes deliver lots of theory, for you to put into the context of your organisation. We don’t do that. We do the reverse and work with you, to understand the context of your unique performance landscape and develop the leadership you require to make it successful – and if a theory supports that, then we’ll share it with you. We are also happy to share the learning from our experience with you, so that you can benefit from practical skills to develop your leadership and improve your business. We don’t tell you how to run your business nor do we tell you “what you need to do is….” It is your business and you know it better than anyone.

Before embarking on the Performance Landscape journey….
We meet with senior staff to unpick what specific problems you’d like solved, which are priorities and any cultural changes necessary. (not forgetting that the senior leaders create the culture – and may be part of the problem!)
Where you want us to, we can work to ensure that you have the polices, procedures and people in place to create your own ‘learning organisation’.
We can provide a tailored analysis of what we believe are the development needs, where appropriate.
We help you define ‘what success will look like’.
Where appropriate, we chat with people at all levels of the organisation to get a broad viewpoint.
“Begin with the end in mind”………. we work together to create a routemap of where the organisation’s leaders want to be in the short, medium and long term.
Even at this early stage we consider if and how coaching and mentoring may give added value.
Delivering The Performance Landscape Programme
Performance Landscape is tailored to you; with 20% memorable imagery and language supported by 80% tried and tested leadership practice, models and theory.
It’s challenging, imaginative, confronting, directly relevant, sometimes uncomfortable, engaging, impactive and invariably fun!
The Performance Landscape team have between them a total of over 60 years of management and leadership experience…….so there’s not much we haven’t come across or experienced, in one form or another.
We usually find that it’s not tasks that cause problems; it’s people……..
We use case studies and exercises that are either from the client organisation or ‘local’……not generic. One size does not fit all.
We ensure that participants prepare at least one written Action Plan, describing how they will go on to apply their new learning into their workplace.
You have the option to integrate junior, middle and senior personnel; or undertake role specific programmes.
Flexibility is the key. We have the skills and experience to adapt our content and methods to your needs.
All events are subject to structured debrief and evaluation to ensure that they achieved what we all intended……and usually more besides.
After We Have Delivered The Performance Landscape Programme.
We ensure that there is follow–up to the participants’ Action Plans. As they say in rugby, ‘use it – or lose it!’
We encourage / enable your people to undertake a coaching style of leadership, to progress and further develop new skills and personal attributes.
Where appropriate, participants can form Action Learning Sets to undertake work-based tasks, projects or initiatives; further progressing increasing their performance, achieving tangible results for your organisation and, therefore, increasing your return-on- investment.
